Jake Stolarski, the founder and CEO of NERO Chain, holds degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering. After graduating, he worked as a researcher at Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, where he published papers on the reliability of laser systems and computer models.

He then became a Director at Chicago Trading Company and a Partner at Barrow Street, where he built an energy-focused volatility trading fund using his own capital. His fund achieved a 70% return for three consecutive years and ranked among the top three globally at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the world's largest commodity futures exchange.

At Cipher Technologies Management, he managed all trading activities and risk management for the only SEC and CFT registered fund in digital assets. He set early standards for bilateral ISDAs in the OTC space and developed the first collateral lockbox standards for the industry. He developed and operated Dragonfly Capital's Volatility Trading Fund, demonstrating expertise in sophisticated trading strategies and fund management. He was also an early applicant for a Bitcoin ETF.

After serving as CEO of Cube.Network, a Layer 1 blockchain project ranked in the top 20 by Huobi, he founded NERO Chain.
