After working at Goldman Sachs, Yuzo Kano co-founded bitFlyer in 2014. Since then, he has contributed to the development of the crypto asset exchange industry globally by serving as CEO of bitFlyer USA and chairman of bitFlyer Europe, in addition to making recommendations regarding domestic legal reforms and formulating self-regulation rules. Currently, he is the CEO of bitFlyer Blockchain, which was established in 2019, and also serves as representative chair of the Japan Blockchain Association (JBA) and advisor for Metaverse Japan, actively working to develop Web3.
