Mr. Seiji Kihara is serving his seventh term as a member of the House of
Representatives and is currently Chairperson, Finance Committee of the Liberal
Democratic Party.
Mr. Kihara was born in 1970 and began his career at the Ministry of Finance in 1993
after graduating from the University of Tokyo with a B.A. in Law. He held numerous
positions in the Ministry and also studied at the London School of Economics and
Political Science (LSE), receiving his M.A. Mr. Kihara became the first Japanese
official to be seconded to Her Majesty’s Treasury in the United Kingdom. He then left
the Ministry in 2005 and ran successfully for a seat in the House of Representatives.
In 2013-14, Mr. Kihara served as the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs.
He later served as the State Minister for Foreign Affairs (2015-16), Deputy
Chairperson and Chief Secretary of the LDP Policy Research Council (2017-20), Chair
of the House of Representatives Committee on Cabinet (2020), Deputy Chief Cabinet
Secretary (2021-23), and the Chairperson of the LDP Election Strategy Committee
(2024-25).

Thomas J. Lee (Tom Lee) is one of the most widely recognized and followed macro strategists on Wall Street, with nearly 30 years of experience in macro strategy and equity research. Known for his evidence-based, data-driven approach, he has made numerous timely and contrarian market calls—often going against consensus with accuracy—and was one of the first strategists to introduce institutional investors to Bitcoin. He is widely regarded as a trusted voice among top asset managers, advisors, and allocators.

In September 2014, he co-founded Fundstrat and serves as its Head of Research. Fundstrat is a research advisory firm that has grown to over 30 full-time employees and now serves hedge funds, mutual funds, and family offices in more than 26 countries.

Tom Lee founded Fundstrat Capital in Spring 2024 and serves as its Chief Investment Officer while continuing in his role as Head of Research at Fundstrat. He is the lead Portfolio Manager for the Fundstrat Granny Shots ETF suite (NYSE: GRNY, GRNJ, GRNI). The flagship large-cap portfolio, GRNY, is recognized as one of the most successful equity ETF launches of the past two decades, with over $4.6 billion in assets under management as of January 31, 2026.

In June 2025, Lee was appointed Chairman of the Board of Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: BMNR). Yuval played a pivotal role in the formation of the Canton Network, the only public layer-one blockchain with privacy. He is also a Board Member and Treasurer of the Global Synchronizer Foundation, which he helped to create with the support of the Linux Foundation, to bring fair and transparent decentralized governance and organizational neutrality to the adoption and evolution of the Canton Network.

Yuval is a member of the Digital Asset Markets subcommittee of the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Global Market Advisory Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of the Global Blockchain Business Council, a leading industry association for the blockchain technology ecosystem. Sungyong Kang is currently working as a Criminal Intelligence Officer at the INTERPOL Financial Crime and Anti-Corruption Centre where his main duty is to coordinate the international cooperation to trace, freeze/seize the criminal proceeds. He has led the Operation HAECHI targeting Cyber-Enabled Financial Crime and worked as a co-lead for the Cyber-Enabled Financial Crime Project which INTERPOL is collaborating with FATF and Egmont Group. He pursues creative ways to overcome the legal, practical hurdles encountered by LEAs in investigating cross border financial crimes by closely strengthning the reciprocal feedback between operational bodies and policy making bodies and information sharing between public and private entities both at the global and domestic level.
Prior to joining the INTERPOL, he worked as a researcher and an adjunct professor at the KNPU focusing on the financial crime exploiting new technologies, such as Blockchain, AI and Metaverse, etc. Before then, he successfully investigated high profile financial crimes leading his team to be awarded as the best investigation team in Seoul.
He is also the prolific author of the papers published by renowned journals including International & Comparative Law Quarterly (Cambridge University Press), Michigan Journal of International Law (Michigan Law School), etc. He is also a frequent speaker at the conferences organized by respected international and domestic entities including FATF, UNODC, UNTOC, Egmont Group, Basel Institute on Governance, EUROPOL and INTERPOL, etc.
