Martin Arnold has worked for the Financial Times since 1999 and been the FT’s financial regulation editor since 2024. Before that he was Frankfurt bureau chief, covering the European Central Bank and the Eurozone economy for five years. During his two decades at the FT, he has also worked in London, Paris and New York. Previous roles include banking editor, deputy companies editor, Paris correspondent and private equity correspondent.
