Ken Koyanagi, based in Tokyo, is a veteran journalist with over 35 years of experience currently covering such fields as technology businesses, technology-related policy, cyber security and Indian economy. Prior to the current role, he was a member of Nikkei’s editorial board. Prior to that, he was a Nikkei Asia Editor-at-large based in Southeast Asia and in India for seven years through March 2021. Prior to that, he was the founding publisher of the Nikkei Asian Review (renamed to Nikkei Asia in 2020), after having led web-service development projects for the Nikkei Online Edition. Before that, Ken covered capital markets, financial and technology sectors in Tokyo and at Nikkei’s Silicon Valley Bureau.
