Speaker of WebX 2026
Nate Acton
EMURGOVP - Global Marketing
Nathaniel Acton is VP of Global Marketing at EMURGO, a co-founding entity of the Cardano blockchain, where he leads go-to-market strategy, brand, and commercial marketing across the group's ventures. A mentor at Cardano Venture Hub, he works closely with founders and early-stage teams on positioning, product narrative, and go-to-market strategy across Web3 and fintech.
He is the driving force behind the launch of SecondFi, a self-custodial neobank enabling onchain spending, trading, and saving via stablecoins and the Cardano card. At EMURGO, he has also played a central role in Cardano's decentralization journey, leading DAO governance setup to transition the network toward community-led decision-making.
Before EMURGO, Nate co-founded a global ad tech agency and Google Cloud sales partner that grew to serve clients including Procter & Gamble and Cathay Pacific. He held senior roles at WPP/GroupM across London and Singapore.
Nate's current focus sits at the intersection of fintech infrastructure, self-custody, and real-world crypto adoption, particularly in emerging markets across Asia and beyond.
