Having spent approximately a decade overseas from his mid-teens, Koki Sato studied Business Management at Dalhousie University in Canada, gaining a strong foundation in entrepreneurship, business operations, and equity finance. Upon graduating, he joined a Hong Kong-listed Chinese conglomerate with a global private equity portfolio, deepening his expertise in corporate planning, investment strategy, and financial analysis across hospitality, real estate, and logistics assets in Japan and Asia-Pacific.

Returning to Japan, he founded a management consulting and marketing firm serving clients ranging from SMEs to large corporations, delivering business strategy, go-to-market, and financial advisory solutions across the region. He now serves as Chief Marketing Officer at UPCX. An open-source, high-throughput blockchain platform redefining global payment infrastructure, where he leads marketing strategy, institutional partnerships, and international community growth.
