Born in 1966, Masakatsu Saito began his career in financial systems and securities services before joining ITOCHU Corporation in 1998. He later joined Japan Online Securities Co., Ltd. (now Mitsubishi UFJ eSmart Securities Co., Ltd.) at its founding and served as President and CEO from 2004, leading the company's growth. After holding executive leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and COO of Minkabu The Infonoid, Inc., he was appointed President and Representative Director of TRADEWORKS Inc. in July 2024. He also serves as a Board Member of the Japan Association of New Economy (JANE) and a Director of the Japan Digital Economy Association.
