Toshifumi Yoshizaki joined NEC in 2019 after working at a major international IT company, and has since driven the company’s digital business and transformation initiatives in areas such as biometric authentication, AI, and cloud. Since 2021, he has led the commercialization of platform businesses and advanced SI technologies, while enhancing NEC’s business model through the establishment of a new strategic consulting function and the systematization and standardization of DX offerings. He was appointed Chief Digital Officer (CDO) in 2023 and Corporate Senior Executive Vice President in 2024, during which he integrated NEC’s company-wide DX business under the “BluStellar” brand and led business model transformation. In 2026, he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing company-wide product development, services, reserach and business development.
