After graduating from Waseda University in 1998, he joined Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd. After starting his career in branch sales, he held senior positions in fixed income and currencies trading, including Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Sales and Head of Global Fixed Income and Currencies, leading Daiwa’s bond and currencies business. Appointed Head of Human Resources in 2024 and to his current role in 2025, he serves as an Executive Officer overseeing HR and corporate planning. He is also a Director of the Japan Security Token Offering Association, Osaka Digital Exchange Co., Ltd., Fintertech Co., Ltd., and Penguin Securities Holdings Pte. Ltd.
