Ikkei Matsuda is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist with over 25 years of experience in tech-investment and blockchain implementation. As a co-founder of Soramitsu, he played a key role in the launch of "Bakong," the world’s first central bank digital currency (CBDC) for the National Bank of Cambodia. Currently, as CEO of Digital Platformer, he leads the development of next-generation financial infrastructure for banks and municipalities using decentralized ID (DID/VC) and stablecoin technologies. He has also served as an advisor and committee member for government entities such as NEDO and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). By integrating expertise in technology, capital markets, and public policy, he is driving the real-world adoption of Web3. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Keio University, an MBA from INSEAD, and a Ph.D. in Medicine from Hokkaido University.
