Expanded programs for companies and projects (enhanced for 2026)

WebX 2026 strengthens its programs for companies and projects, including training seminars led by specialist firms, universities, and research institutions, as well as business matching features. With over 110 exhibitors from Japan and abroad, you can speak directly with their representatives and get a complete picture of the latest project developments in one place. The venue also serves as a gateway to the Japanese market for overseas companies, creating points of contact across both BtoB and BtoC.

Tokyo becomes a place to connect at WebX 2026

Last year, over 170 side events took place. From meetups and VIP dinners to hackathons, the formats varied widely, offering the chance to take the connections you make at WebX even further.

Enjoy special experiences, from traditional culture to electric nights

WebX 2026 offers a curated lineup of experiences for guests from Japan and abroad, including an authentic matcha tea ceremony and on-site massages. When night falls, the Official After Party takes over Zouk Tokyo in Ginza. These experiences are available to Business Pass holders and above, with upgrades available at any time.

    Networking

The Real Value of a Conference Lies in Creating Opportunities

At WebX, the networking areas and exhibition booths are open spaces for connection, where striking up a conversation with someone new comes naturally. It's the same open, welcoming culture you'll find at the world's leading Web3 conferences.

Some business development professionals attend more than ten conferences a year and leave a single event with close to 200 new contacts, visiting every booth and lining up side events to build connections as they go. That way of working is what builds trust and opportunity in this industry.

WebX 2026 brings together more than 2,600 companies from 99 countries (based on last year's figures). With people arriving from around the world in search of new connections and business opportunities, valuable connections arise naturally, and have gone on to become lasting partnerships.

A Gathering Like This Doesn't Happen in Tokyo by Chance

Each year, WebX draws participants from across the globe: overseas companies targeting the Japanese market, domestic companies looking for new ventures or partners, and institutional investors exploring opportunities. WebX is the one place in Japan where the government, established enterprises, IP holders, and Web3 companies all come together under one roof. At WebX 2025, Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba delivered the Opening Remarks, alongside the Minister of Finance, the Minister of METI, the Governor of Tokyo, and the Acting Chairman of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

This reach is no accident. CoinPost, which plans and runs WebX, attends conferences worldwide throughout the year, personally reaching out to companies with an interest in the Japanese market. After three years of this effort, the industry has reached a clear consensus: if you're serious about Web3, WebX is where you start.

Speaking directly with speakers and exhibitors is a reward unique to being there in person. As of 2026, the lineup already includes names such as those listed to the right.

Stablecoins, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act reform, tokenized securities, RWA — the very players driving the themes that move markets today are all in one venue.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How is WebX different from overseas conferences?
Token2049 and Consensus are held overseas and conducted mainly in English, which makes it structurally hard to access Japan's regulatory environment or connections with the government. WebX is held in Japan yet is designed as a place where government officials, global enterprises, and Web3 companies intersect, so you can gain information and contacts in Tokyo that are hard to obtain at conferences held abroad. For Japan-based participants, the absence of travel and accommodation costs is another notable difference.
Can I attend even if I'm not familiar with Web3?
Absolutely. The exhibition booths bring together a wide range of projects, making it a place to grasp the whole industry in a short time. Even if you're interested in crypto assets but unsure where to start, the chance to hear directly from the teams involved is valuable. You can join from the Booth Pass, with on-site upgrades available.
    What exactly are side events?
Side events are events independently planned and held by projects and companies. They take place across Tokyo, including before and after WebX, with more than 170 held in 2025. Formats vary — meetups, VIP dinners, hackathons, tea gatherings, and more. Overseas attendees begin arriving around July 8, which makes the period of July 8–16 the liveliest overall.
Can I attend WebX 2026 with a Booth Pass?
Yes. WebX 2026 offers a range of activities available to Booth Pass holders, including a stamp rally where participants can complete missions to receive premium rewards and access special experiences. The Booth Pass is designed for attendees who want to explore the exhibition area while gaining an overview of the latest developments across the industry. For those who wish to access more of the event, upgrades to a Business Pass are available in advance or on-site.
Why do ticket prices change depending on when I buy?
WebX 2026's ticket price changes by sales period, similar to advance ticket sales for concerts and sporting events. The current Business Pass is the Last Chance price of $249, and the next step is the list price of $349. Since you can still join below the list price, we recommend securing your pass early if you've decided to attend.
Is there a way for corporations or teams to apply together?
Yes. For purchases of 5 or more passes, a Corporate Pass is available for companies, organizations, and teams. This option can be applied to any pass type, including Booth, Business, and VIP Passes, with custom quotes available. If you are considering attending as a department or team, please contact us through the dedicated form on the WebX 2026 official website.
